Many of our students have accelerated to the International Performing Arts Conference, where Barbizon has allowed them to launch many top careers such as those of Quinn McColgan, Melody Woodin, Christina Makowski, Ryan Phillippe, Dennis Johnson, Nate Hill and Brandon Hill, as well as many many more. In modeling competitions in both New York and Los Angeles, Barbizon has won Agency of the Year; International Model of the Year; and Child Actor of the Year, just to name a few! Barbizon is where you can make your dream come true! Our training prepares you for all of the challenges life has to offer while letting you explore the exciting world of modeling and acting. The modeling and acting industry can be tough to navigate, especially for beginners. With so many different options, unfortunately there can also be a lot of companies, which make claims, or promises they cannot follow through on. It helps to choose a company that will help to educate you on the industry and look out for your best interest and safety. For over 75 years, Barbizon has been training young people in modeling, acting and personal development and remains the leader in the industry for one main reason, understanding our place in the industry.
Customer Base
Our target customers are children to teenagers, specifically aspiring female stars, 5-17 years old. However, anybody can take enroll in our programs. After the students finish the program, a select few head on to the International Performing Arts Conference in Hollywood where they get to showcase their talents to Hollywood agents and talent scouts. It is in the scouts’ and agents’ discretion whether they want to set-up an interview with the performers or not, or hire them on the spot. Mostly young females get callbacks from the scouts and agents because they are in demand in the entertainment industry. Our tagline is “Be a model, or just look like one.” This is much related to our target demographic because they genuinely either are interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry or want to boost their self-confidence. We want people to feel beautiful and have high self-esteem regardless of different factors such as what they look like and what level their skillset is on.
